An Update On Blackcats–Games Giveaway 03, Open Signups & More
Posted by on July 23, 2010
Blackcats-Games (or BCG), is without a doubt one of the most talked about torrent sites in the BitTorrent community. It’s probably the most popular specialized games tracker on the planet, with more than 12500 games torrent in its index. Additionally, BCG is set to celebrate its 7th birthday this August making it one of the oldest private trackers in existence. Blackcats is a private tracker and it hasn’t had an open signup in more than two years – the only way into the site has been through...
MVDDL.Net – Another Music Video Direct Download Link Forum Now Open
Posted by on July 10, 2010
Just a few days ago we featured on this blog MVHive, a direct download link (DDL) forum for music videos. Today’s post is about another similar site; MVDDL.Net. Although some of you may be hearing about this for the very first time, it remains to be one of the largest music video DDL forums currently online. MVDDL.net started off it’s operations soon after the demise of Keitex.net, a popular MV forum which had more than 60000 active members. A lot of ex-Keitex members took refuge in MVDDL and...
Hungarian Torrent Sites Shut Down – Here Are 5 Trackers That Are Still Open
Posted by on June 18, 2010
Hungarian police are raiding BitTorrent trackers hosted in the country. While raids against torrent sites are not uncommon, the current legal operations conducted by Hungarian authorities seem to be targeting multiple sites at once. As TorrentFreak reports, a number of Hungary based BitTorrent sites have gone down and this includes several well known private trackers such as nCore, GigaTorrent, BD (Blue Dragon) and PirateDay. So, does this mean it’s game over for the Hungarian BT scene? We...

Posted by on June 17, 2010
If you were looking forward to becoming a member of CartoonChaos (CC), here’s some good news. CC now has an official invite application set up on its website which potential invite seekers can use to get into the site. This site was not included in our recent ‘25 Private Trackers With IRC Recruitment & Invite Applications’ article as CC invite applications were not online by the time we made that post. For those who don’t know about this tracker, CartoonChaos is a specialized cartoon...
Register With The Pirate Society Through Pirate Academy – No IRC Interview
Posted by on June 11, 2010
Launched in 2008, The Pirate Society (TPS) has become one of the most successful file sharing discussion forums currently online. TPS features BitTorrent news, discussions, invitation giveaways, requests, private tracker reviews as well as seedbox discussions, support and reviews. This forum is also known for its many tracker recruitment threads and insane number of direct connections to private trackers through the ‘Community reps’ model. While being an excellent file sharing forum and a...
Fix Split Second : Velocity Crash, Resolution & Controller Issues, Black Screen & More
Posted by on May 20, 2010
The PC platform has seen a racing game after some time. Split Second : Velocity (aka Split/Second) has now been released to the public. From the brief experience I had with the title, this looked like a fun game to play with more arcade style gaming elements. However, Split/Second is a console port and like most console ports, it does not appear to be the most optimized game to run on PC hardware. In other words, some of you with even high end systems might run into performance woes. Anyways...
PackMe.In Open Again – Packs Only Torrent Tracker (No Ratio)
Posted by on May 9, 2010
A quick update for the folks who have not yet made it into PackMe.In (aka PiN or ‘The Donkey’) – PiN have opened signups for a limited time in celebration of the Mother's Day. As the name suggests, this private torrent tracker is all about torrent packs – for example, instead of individual TV episodes which are regularly found on most other torrent sites, PiN only tracks either complete series or full season packs. Same goes for movies and other content – at PiN, everything comes in bundles....
AfterPre – Direct Download Links For Movies, TV Shows, Apps & Other Scene Releases
Posted by on May 6, 2010
As I’m writing this post, I’m wondering why we didn’t feature this site earlier. AfterPre is an excellent direct download link indexer that’s somehow managed to evade our radar up untill now. When compared to other DDL indexers, AfterPre is unique. Their uniqueness mostly comes from the looks – although a DDL index, the site looks and behaves and exactly like a private BitTorrent tracker running on a script such as TBDEV. A layout that resembles a torrent index, categories, category icons,...
HD-Bits.ro Signups Open – High Definition Movie & TV Torrents
Posted by on May 5, 2010
Here’s a quick update on another private torrent tracker open signup. HD-Bits.ro, an excellent online resource for all things high definition, has opened public signups after several months. Although it’s name might suggest the site is a rip off of HDBits.org, HD-Bits.ro is an independent tracker that has risen on its own. With thousands of members and torrents the site has two things essential for the success of a private tracker; content and activity. Apart from the scene and P2P releases...

Posted by on May 4, 2010
It’s again time for our monthly roundup of of private torrent trackers. This article contains summarized information about 11 private trackers that are currently open for registration – all of the sites mentioned here have been discussed in detail on this blog before, during the past couple of months. Note that sites which recruit members via IRC, invite applications or any other alternate means other than direct open signups are not listed here (they will be featured in a separate post). This...
